The Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACIMIT) and the Italian Trade Commission, in partnership with The Nonwovens Institute of North Carolina State University, organized an exciting technical program highlighting Italian technology for the nonwovens and technical textile industries. Italian manufacturers introduced their technologies and capabilities during individual presentations. The tabletop reception provided the opportunity to exchange views, information, and network. To complement the Italian technologies showcased at this event, the organizers brought together industry experts and opinion leaders from the leading technical textiles and nonwovens organizations to discuss the current markets and applications, industry needs, and the future of the industries while also providing insight into the research and emerging technologies ongoing in the academic and industry settings.
